The dimensions of the exterior of the (closed) shoebox are 6 by 7 by 4 inches.  First find the surface area of the shoebox.  To do this, you must find the surface area of one top, of one end and of one side.  Then multiply all of these calculations by 2.

Total surface area = ?

Now divide the total surface area by (4 square inches per minute), to determine how many minutes it will take the kid to paint the whole exterior of the shoebox.

The weight of 10 identical samples of a substance is 0.01 pound what is the weight of 10,000 samples
kap26 [50]
We use ratios here.

For every 10 samples, the total weight is 0.01 lb.

We write
10 / 0.01.

We want to find the weight of 10,000 samples.

We write
10,000/?

These two ratios must equal each other.

(10 / 0.01) = (10,000 / ?)

If you know how to cross-multiply, then we can do that here.
0.01 * 10000 = 10 * ?
100 = 10 * ?

The unknown value is 10, which is your answer.

A circle has a diameter of 4 meters.
Slav-nsk [51]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

r = d/2

r = 4/2

r = 2

pi = 3.14

Circumference = 2 * pi * r

Circumference = 2 * 3.14 * 2

Circumference = 12.56

Area = pi r^2

Area = 3.14 * 2^2

Area = 4 * 3.14

Area = 12.56

allsm [11]

Answer: %512 increase.

Step-by-step explanation:

Soooo if you had $1 and the prize was $512, then youd be making $512 (because you lost/invested the $1), It would be a 512% increase. Now, if it was $51,200 youd win, then yes it would be a 51,200%, but its only $512.
