The answer would be -7x + 20y

-2x + 3y - 5x - ( -8y ) + 9y
When there are two negative signs one after another, it turns into a positive.
-2x + 3y -5x + 8y + 9y
Now you need to add up all common numbers.
-2x - 5x = -7x
3y + 8y + 9y = 20y

The remaining two numbers don't have a common variable, so they stay separate;
-7x + 20y

Katyanochek1 [597]

Answer:

Please mark me brainliest and I hope this helped!

A = 52 feet squared

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the surface area of the locker, we use the formula for a right rectangular prism. The formula is: A=2(wl+hl+hw)

Width: 2 feet

Length: 4 feet

Height: 3 feet

Now we plug those numbers into the equation.

A = 2((2*4) + (3*4) + (3*2))

A = 2(8 + 12 + 6)

A = 2(26)

A = 52 feet squared
