the water cycle is the cycle of water....duh...but there are following steps of the cycle such as evaporation when water evaporates from the earth, condensation when the water condensates  into clouds and precipitation, when the water comes down to earth in a form of rain sleet or hail or snow....and lastly accumulation, when water on earth accumulates in the soil and ground helping the plans underneath and every living organism...i hope this helps...and sorry if i'm late..
