Placido Domingo, singer, orchestra director, producer and Spanish composer, was born in the Madrid street of Ibiza, nº 34. He is the son of two singers of zarzuela, the zaragozano Plácido Domingo and the Guipuzcoan Josefa Pepita Embil Etxaniz.
