Answer:

The three E's of nutrition are; Eat, Exercise and Eliminate. While PDIs are set of measures that are used to evaluate the quality of pediatric healthcare.

Step-by-step explanation:

The three E's of nutrition are basically the important categories relating to the essential nutrition for human beings.

The Pediatric Quality Indicators (PDIs) are a set of measures that can be used to evaluate the quality of pediatric healthcare. It helps to evaluate preventive care for children.

The PDIs fit into the three E's by ensuring that a child eats well, a balanced diet. This ensure complete development of every part of the child. Furthermore, exercise gives strength to the muscles of the child's body. Walking is a form of mild exercise for a child which assist in the muscle repair and growth. Then the elimination of unneccessary class of food (majorly fatty foods) for a child is important. This would put the weight of the child in a check.

Answer and explanation:

The three nutrition E's are essential nutrition for survival and basic health, Essential nutrition for optimal health and Essential nutrition for athletic performance. An essential nutrient is one that our body cannot produce alone or is in insufficient quantities. So it is important to note that the Essential Nutrition for Survival and Basic Health category is that essential for survival, physical growth, mental development, individual performance, productivity, health and well-being throughout life. While the essential nutrition for optimal health is more directed towards a nutritional diet rich in all nutrients, in larger quantities than previously recommended.

On the other hand, when it comes to essential nutrition for athletic performance, they have greater needs in the field of nutrition, whether in athletic performance, greater caloric needs due to greater energy expenditure, in addition to muscle repair induced by muscle damage.

Finally, PDIs is the consumption of athletes and active people to meet their greatest needs. An IDP is based on a total nutritional plan, combining food sources and supplements, in order to achieve a safe and effective nutritional food plan, they essentially use the three E combined into a customized approach.

Scores on the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS) are approximately Normal with mean 105 and standard deviation 16. People
erik [133]

Answer:

2.5% of adults are intellectually disabled by this criterion

Step-by-step explanation:

The Empirical Rule(68-95-99.7 rule) states that, for a normally distributed random variable:

68% of the measures are within 1 standard deviation of the mean.

95% of the measures are within 2 standard deviation of the mean.

99.7% of the measures are within 3 standard deviations of the mean.

In this problem, we have that:

Mean = 105

Standard deviation = 16

The normal distribution is symmetric, which means that 50% of the measures are below the mean and 50% are above.

What percent of adults are intellectually disabled by this criterion

Below 73

73 = 105 - 2*16

So 73 is 2 standard deviations below the mean.

Of the 50% of the measures that are below the mean, 95% are within 2 standard deviations of the mean, that is, between 73 and 105. The other 100 - 95% = 5% are below 73. So

0.05*0.5 = 0.025

0.025*100 = 2.5%

2.5% of adults are intellectually disabled by this criterion

Find the angles in the image
Rama09 [41]

Answer:

 • a) 36°, b) 36°, c) 72°

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

 • PT║VW and SR is transversal
 • m∠PQR = 36°

To find:

 • a) m∠SQT
 • b) m∠QRW
 • c) m∠PRV

Solution

a) ∠SQT is vertical with ∠PQR and therefore has equal measure

 • m∠SQT = 36°

b) ∠QRW is corresponding angle with ∠SQT and therefore has equal measure

 • m∠QRW = 36°

c) m∠PRV = m∠PRQ as marked equal

 • m∠PRV +m∠PRQ + m∠QRW = 180° as straight angle
 • m∠PRV*2 = 180° - 36°
 • m∠PRV*2 =144°
 • m∠PRV = 144°/2
 • m∠PRV = 72°
