Answer:

A) Northern and Southerners disagreed over the spread of slavery.

Explanation:

"What led to the outbreak of the bloodiest conflict in the history of North America? A common explanation is that the Civil War was fought over the moral issue of slavery. In fact, it was the economics of slavery and political control of that system that was central to the conflict. A key issue was states' rights."

What does "one cannot justify war unless each side flaunts its own blind conviction." mean?
Anettt [7]
This means that there is no reason to go to war unless both sides of the argument are unable to see and understand what the other side is trying to justify. Having a conviction in a cause or a belief without looking at the other side of the coin and trying to understand what might be seen as an uncomfortable viewpoint is what often leads to skirmishes and wars.

What actions illustrate Japanese, German, and Italian aggression in the 1930s? min 400 words
loris [4]
Like Italy and Japan, German aggression came from a need for resources, a desire to expand or gain back former land, and extreme nationalism.

Italy was unstable because strikes occurred, workers took over factories, and peasants seized land.

Japan moved to secure a large empire, similar to those of western civilizations. They seized Machuria in 1931.
In 1937, Japanese forces overran much of Eastern China, commencing the second Sino-Japanese war.
