Answer:

Distinctive and interesting features about the Jovian planet moons .

Explanation:

1) Ganymede: It is the biggest of the Jupiter's moons. Its core is metallic and surface is icy.It is estimated that Ganymede may have water content equal to the water content on the earth.

2) Europa: Its surface is smooth and is made of frozen water. It has less mountains or craters. It is active technically  .The radiation on Europa is very dangerous.

3) Titan: It has dense atmosphere. The atmosphere contains mostly Nitrogen .Its features are similar to the earth.

4) Mimas: There are more craters on Mimas . One crater on Mimas, Herschel crater is 1/3 of the size of Mimas . It is called a death star because of the deep craters.

5) Miranda: Miranda's surface is not uniform. No two surfaces on Miranda look like the same. There are different surface features on Miranda like craters, parallel ridges and troughs .The name comes from the Prospero magician's daughter   in Shakespeare's The Tempest.

6) Lo: Volcanically active. The sulfur emissions rise up to 300 Km into the air.The atmosphere of Lo contains more sulfur dioxide . Lava lakes are found on the surface of Lo.

How Is the dead sea changing
Gnoma [55]

Answer:

The dead sea is shrinking, and as it recedes, the fresh water aquifers along the perimeter of the lake are receding along with it. As this fresh water diffuses into salt deposits beneath the surface of the shoreline, the water slowly dissolves the deposits until the earth above collapses without warning.

__________ ozone is harmful, damaging plants and human health while ozone at the _________ level screens out mutagenic ultraviol
jenyasd209 [6]

Answer:

Tropospheric ozone is harmful, damaging plants and human health while ozone at the stratophere level screens out mutagenic ultraviolet radiation.

Explanation:

Ozone is dangerous and harmful in the lowest layer of the Earth's atmosphere. This layer is called troposphere. The reason why it causes damage to plants and human health it is because ozone is a reactive gas that affects plant synthesis and causes smog (a form of air pollution that is particularly dangerous to sensitive respiratory diseases such as asthma). However, ozone is helpful in the second layer of the Earth's atmosphere: the stratosphere.  It prevents and blocks dangerous ultraviolet radiation.
