To find the x intercept you plug in 0 for y then solve for x and to find the y intercept you plug in 0 for x and solve for y in the end you should get x =7/3 and y=-3 if you did the math correctly

If the first and the last term of an arithmetic progression, with common difference
devlian [24]

The number of terms in the given arithmetic sequence is n = 10. Using the given first, last term, and the common difference of the arithmetic sequence, the required value is calculated.

What is the nth term of an arithmetic sequence?

The general form of the nth term of an arithmetic sequence is

an = a1 + (n - 1)d

Where,

a1 - first term

n - number of terms in the sequence

d - the common difference

Calculation:

The given sequence is an arithmetic sequence.

First term a1 = 1\frac{1}{2} = 3/2

Last term an = 2\frac{1}{2} = 5/2

Common difference d = 1/9

From the general formula,

an = a1 + (n - 1)d

On substituting,

5/2 = 3/2 + (n - 1)1/9

⇒ (n - 1)1/9 = 5/2 - 3/2

⇒ (n - 1)1/9 = 1

⇒ n - 1 = 9

⇒ n = 9 + 1

∴ n = 10

Thus, there are 10 terms in the given arithmetic sequence.

Which statement is true regarding the angles in the figure below?
Nesterboy [21]

An exterior angle is an angle supplementary to one of the interior angles.

In other words, an exterior angle is the angle between one of the sides, and the extension of an adjacent side.

In the given diagram, the angle D is measured from one of the sides, but not to the extension of an adjacent side.

Therefore angle D is not an exterior angle.

Option D is the correct one!

Sprout problem: California farmer of sprouts deals mainly with alfalfa sprouts and brussels sprouts. He has hired you to optimiz
vovangra [49]

Answer:

 see attached

Step-by-step explanation:

In the attached, the feasible region is white, and all excluded regions are shaded. When there are so many inequalities, it is easier to see the solution (feasible region) this way. The boundary lines are dashed because they are not excluded. That is, each boundary line is part of the feasible region.

The vertices of the feasible region are shown to aid in any optimization you might want to do. We have shown the values that would apply if there were a constraint y ≥ 0, which is not on your list. (We assume pounds of Brussels sprouts will not be negative.)

__

If you actually do the shading required by the problem statement, you will be shading on the opposite side of each of the lines shown, and you would draw the lines as solid.
