The A. Mandate System was put in place after World War I to deal with the issue of Germany's former colonies.

Following the end of World War I, in which the Central Powers had lost, the newly formed League of Nations (consisting of the victorious Allies and other countries), created a Mandate System.

The system was a legal statute in which the League of Nation granted authorization to a member nation (called "mandatory powers" or "mandatory"), to govern a former German or Turkish colony (called "mandate").

const2013 [10]

Answer:

For number 1. The divine rights (of kings) was a concept that said the kings and queens had a god given right to rule and anyone who went against them sinned, when the Enlightenment era started this gave people a better rule of individualism and that god exist but does not interact supernaturally with the universe therefor debunking that kings and queens could rule in gods name.

2. this was a great era of change, restrictions of torture and education for girls came during the enlightenment era. science played a huge role and people started looking for facts instead of using god as the way for everything.

1. what was one impact of the printing revolution on european society?
Scilla [17]
One impact of the printing press was a general increase in literacy and education. This was because books suddenly became cheaper - until then they had to be hand-written, and so the monopoly on knowledge was generally in the hands of the church, who was responsible for re-writing books.

One indirect impact was the decrease of the power of the church, who no longer had the monopoly on knowledge.
