Answer:

I'm gonna try my best here-

First, we need to define government functions, which are:

-To preserve Order (i.e: prevent uprisings)

-To protect from enemies (no wars)

-Manage Economic Conditons (stable economy)

-Provide public goods (i.e: infrastructure)

I would give the current United States Government a D in preserving order. As we are now going through a multitude of protests, violent people domestically (i.e: domestic terrorists), and poor control of public health

We haven't had any bad wars recently, so I'm giving it an B- because we still have internal enemies like domestic terrorists.

We have a very unstable economy right now, the worst GDP drop since the great depression. I'm giving it an F.

To provide public goods, I'm giving it a C+. We provide some goods, like infrastructure, trade..etc but healthcare and education can be absymal on the basis of location

i really hope this helps! edg students gotta stick together :)

Answer:

Currently i would give out a C.

Explanation:

Its Hard to grade the entire government as there are three branches and this past administration really just brings down the grade here. The president is in control of the Executive branch which function is to protect and carry out laws. But we currently have a president who is only concerned with his self- interest and has broken many of the same laws he is sworn to protect. But the legislative branch is also at fault here since the Senate and House is responsible for impeachments but many senators choose to put party over country and are failing at their job of protecting our constitution from those who want to seize power. Currently the President has tried to interfere with our election by tearing down critical functions of the post office and of course the Senate struggles to take action against it so the legislative and executive branch is often flawed by those with self-interest. The only branch of our government worth taking note of is the judicial branch who recently have signed human rights bills into law thus making it the most effective branch of our government.

As a hot air balloon rises from 0 (zero) kilometers to 6 kilometers above sea level which of the following happens?
ivanzaharov [21]
The fire makes the air density decrease. If you are 6 km high, you would have trouble breathing. The fire in the hot air balloon would start to die down that high, the fire keeps the air less dense which makes the big cloth stay like a big balloon. If you were that high, the fire would die down and you’ll fall to the ground at very high speeds.

What effects has the dissolution of the Soviet Union had on the U.S.?
hodyreva [135]

Answer:

Explanation:

Gorbachev’s loosening of governmental power created a domino effect in which Eastern European alliances began to crumble, inspiring countries such as Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia to declare their independence. The Berlin Wall fell on November 9, 1989, leading East and West Germany to officially reunite within a year, ending the Cold War. Once the Berlin Wall fell, citizens in Eastern European countries such as Czechoslovakia, Bulgaria and Romania staged protests against their pro-Soviet governments, hastening the collapse of communist regimes across the former Soviet bloc. Other countries—such as the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation and Ukraine—followed suit, creating the Commonwealth of Independent States. By the end of 1989, eight of the nine remaining republics had declared independence from Moscow, and the powerful Soviet Union was finally undone. By the summer of 1990, all the formerly communist Eastern European officials had been replaced by democratically elected governments, setting the stage for the region’s reintegration into Western economic and political spheres.

The dismantling of the Soviet Union had many long-lasting effects on the global economy and the region’s foreign trade. Its downfall increased the United States’ influence as a global power and created an opportunity for corruption and crime in Russia. It also prompted many cultural changes and social upheavals in former Soviet nations and smaller neighboring communist countries. Between 1989 and 1991, the gross national product in Soviet countries fell by 20 percent, ushering in a period of complete economic breakdown.
