Answer:

Glucose (C₆H₁₂O₆) + Oxygen (6O₂)    →   Carbon dioxide (6CO₂ ) + Water (6H₂O ) + Energy (in the form of ATP)

Explanation:

The above mentioned equation represents cellular respiration in which products of photosynthesis which are glucose and oxygen are being used as reactants while reactants of photosynthesis which are carbon dioxide and water  are being liberated as products. In short, <u>cellular respiration is exactly opposite of photosynthesis. </u>

In the process of photosynthesis, sunlight is absorbed/captured/used to carry out the reaction while in cellular respiration energy is released instead of being absorbed.

This equation relates to breathing because breathing is the process in which we inhale oxygen and oxygen is used in cellular respiration for breakdown of food molecule (glucose) present in our body. After breakdown it forms carbon dioxide and water which are expelled out of our body through exhalation and energy which is released by respiration is utilized to do our day to day body activities.
