Getting the declaration of independence, Britain totally ignored it and did not pay much attention to it but America wanted tot totally protest against the British rule.

The declaration of independence that was sent to the Great Britain from the colonies in America, it was totally ignored by the King George III. He did not pay much attention to it.  

On the other hand, American colonies were very angry and wanted to protest against the British rule and the wrong doings of the British when the declaration of independence was sent.
