The difference between unidimensional view and multidimensional view is that an unidimensional view measures only one dimension in which it only represents a single line or that it only represents one perspective while the multidimensional view were able to provide of having to measure two or more dimension and It does not only focuses on one line or one perspective. The only similarity of two is that they are a type of measurement scale that measures a dimension.

An influx of people meant the risk of overcrowding, which in turn meant that cities often didn’t have enough space to accommodate everyone. People living in close quarters without proper hygiene + newly or poorly developed sanitation systems = disease.
