the American dream was to have a nice car and a nice and big house, get married and have children. but to obtain, you have to work hard in order to get it wasn't easy for people to just move to America or get a good paying job ,and it actually means that anyone can go to America and be who they are and earn success in their life and fulfill their goals (in America)
you know that saying "anyone can be anything in America" ya sort of like that.
