They were too far away for Alex to reach them, and the distance felt irrevocable, a chasm that would keep him from ever again touching the delicate silk of Rebecca’s eyelids, or feeling, through his daughter’s ribs, the scramble of her heartbeat. In desperation, he T’d Rebecca, pls wAt 4 me, my bUtiful wyf, then kept his zoom trained on her face until he saw her register the vibration, pause in her dancing, and reach for it. A. Does technology help or hinder meaningful communication?

Let's look at the other choices first. Option B is about proper spelling and grammar. There is nothing in this excerpt to indicate that proper spelling and grammar in a text message is necessary for the character or the reader to understand what is going on. Option C is simply not correct because the texting does not create a dangerous situation. Option D is simply wrong. The music industry is not an issue in the excerpt. Option A is the only one left. It is correct, because the text message sent by Alex does not fully convey the emotions and desperation that he seems to be feeling.

first Multiply the first fraction by the reciprocal of the second fraction.

in the first place we should multiply 1 by 5 and write it over the new fraction and then multiply 2 by -2 and write it under the new fraction, this way you will get 5/-4

Then we Rewrite them like -5/4 + -1/4 = -6/2 and simplify it to -3/2 .

hope it can help . ^^

N Maya Angelou’s poem “Caged Bird,” what does the cage represent?
marin [14]

The metaphor “caged bird” reoccurs throughout the poem “Caged Bird” written by N Maya Angelou. It symbolizes the theme of the poem about the African American people who were oppressed by the Whites in their own land. The cage represents the land which belongs to the native Americans but because of the Whites’ dominance over it, the natives had lost control over it. Though in captivity, the caged bird sings the songs of freedom hoping that some of the other day it will also fly freely in the air.
