The correct answer is Mountain Peak.

When multiple glaciers start flowing downward, they create a pyramid like structure. This movement of glacier from a single point results in the formation of the mountain peak. A pointed structure is just formed due to the simultaneous movement of multiple glaciers to the ground. The cliff is not formed by the slipping down of glacier from single point.

Why is it essential that the regulatory mechanisms that activate glycogen synthesis also deactivate glycogen phosphorylase? (sel
Alex_Xolod [135]
This is because such a mechanism of regulation prevents the simultaneous addition and removal of glucose monomers, preventing unnecessary reactions. Additionally. the two processes occur in the same location in the sell, thus this regulation makes the net process more efficient. When glycogen phosphorylase is phosphorylated its activity increases and vicevarsa.

V125BC [204]

Phosphorylation of glucose adopt the pentose phosphate pathway.

What Phosphorylation of glucose do?

The phosphorylation of glucose maintains the downhill gradient for metabolism of glucose and extramitochondrial glucose flux through the use of pentose phosphate pathway. Induction of the pentose phosphate pathway and the generation of NADPH may also contribute to protection against death of cells.
