y = 5/4 x - 1  so the slope of the line = 5/4

Finding the line that passes through ( -8, 2) with the same slope:-

y - 2 = 5/4(x  - -8)   (Point-slope form)  

y = 5/4x + 10 + 2

In standard form :-
