The list of the given tripeptides are as follows: FNC, RGK, VIL, MDE and SYT.
The nature of an amino acid depend on the types of side chain which it possesses. In order to determine the type of charge that a protein caries, one has to know the amino acid that are linked together in the protein and their sequences.
In the question given above, the correct option is MDE.
The one letter symbols for proteins are used to represent the tripeptides given in the question and MDE stands for Methionine - Aspartate - Glutamate. Methionine  has a non polar side chain while both aspartate and glutamate have acidic side chains. The acidic side chains will confer a negative charge on the tripeptide MDE at physiological pH.

Which is true regarding the process of meiosis I?
sashaice [31]

Answer: The correct option is A (chromosome Number is reduced from diploid to haploid)

Explanation:

In sexual reproduction, offspring are produced by fusion of two different sex cells which usually come from two different parents. These sex cells are know as gametes.

Meiosis is a type of cell division that gives rise to gametes in which the chromosome number is halved. Thus, the gamete cell is said to contain a haploid number (n) of chromosomes.

A diploid cell has two sets of chromosomes: one from the male parent and the other from the female parent. When a diploid cell undergoes meiosis the following occurs:

--> the chromosomes replicate once and

--> the nucleus and cell duplicate ( divide equally) twice.

As a result, the diploid parent cell gives rise to four haploid gamete cells. Therefore the statement "chromosome Number is reduced from diploid to haploid ' is true concerning meiosis I.

Why dominant traits may not necssairly be more common in a population
nataly862011 [7]
This isn't always the case and there is no reason it should be .Whether or not a trait is common has to do with how many copies of that gene version (or allele) are in the population. It has little or nothing to do with whether the trait is dominant or recessive. Let's take eye color as an example.

¿para que sirven los plasmodesmos?
stiv31 [10]
