Fable and satire are interwoven as Orwell was not only a writer but a famous political essayist and thinker. The novel can be seen as a political statement about human society, however, Orwell starts a critique about the Russia of 1930s and 1940s and the two pigs in animal farm represent the communist leaders in the early 1900s. The animalism created does not involve in the end any form of equlity and the upper class abuses language to control the lower classes.
