The transformer is 27.5 ft above the ground.

Solution:

The given image is like a triangle.

Angle 'L' represents the triangle is right triangle.

Use Pythagoras theorem to find the answer.

Base of the triangle = 12 ft

Hypotenuse of the triangle = 30 ft

Height of the triangle = x

Using Pythagoras theorem,

\text{Base} $^{2}+$ Height $^{2}=$ Hypotenuse $^{2}$

12^2+x^2=30^2

144+x^2=900

Subtract 144  on both sides of the equation.

x^2=900-144

x^2=756

Taking square root on both sides.

x=27.5

Hence the transformer is 27.5 ft above the ground.

Talia is packing a moving box. She has a square-framed poster with an area of 4 square feet. The cube-shaped box has a volume
nasty-shy [4]

The volume of a cube = e^3

e = a single edge of the cube.

Area of a square = a^2

a = a single side of the square.

The volume of our cube = 13 ft^3

e = \sqrt[3]{13} = 2.35 ft

The area of our square =  4 ft^2

a = \sqrt{4} = 2 ft

The edge of our cube is greater than the length of our square's side.

The poster will lie flat in the box.

Xelga [282]

Answer:

Mean = 6

Median = 6.5

Mode = 7

Step-by-step explanation:

4, 5, 6, 7, 7, 7,

Mean: Add all numbers then divide by numbers added

36/6 = 6

Median: Number in the middle

6 + 7 = 13 13/2 = 6.5

Mode: The number that appears most often in a set
