D. All of the above

When structuring a speech you want to make sure you have a balance of different types of information. You want to provide the audience with facts so that it's clear you've done your research and have a solid grasp of the technical aspects of the topic. You also though, want to incorporate personal stories and examples to draw the audience in and make them emotionally invested in your topic and the people it affects.

In "helen grey" what does the narrator suggest will be the outcome if helen grey does not change her ways
Butoxors [25]
I had the same problem with this question and I know I'm late, but I am answering it for future students who may have trouble with this question. I believe the narrator is saying that if Helen Grey does not change her ways she will be unhappy. Men think she is beautiful, but because her personality is ugly they will find her unattractive. She will be bitter. In the poem it states, "Take heed, you yet may trip and fall, and no man care to stretch his arms."

what is the topic sentence for this passage Ranchers see bolts flash many times among isolated trees or on a strand of barbed wi
aev [14]
Lightning rods are a necessity for radio towers and skyscrapers.

This is the topic sentence, because it's clear from this that the paragraph will discuss lightning rods and why they are necessary for radio towers and skyscrapers to have. It is broad enough to open the paragraph but also specific enough to give preview and some detail.
