The correct answers are “reasons”, “examples”, and “incidents”. The thesis statement is the most important sentence in the introduction of an essay, since it states the specific topic of the essay and introduces the controlling ideas. In order to prove such thesis, the writer should include reasons in the body paragraphs. Such reasons could be developed in different paragraphs or all reasons in one. Examples and incidents should also be included to prove a thesis, since they would support the reasons stated in the body paragraphs with evidence.

PLEASE HELP NEED THIS DONE BY THE END OF THE DAY!!! Write a brief objective summary of chapter 2 of Trash Vortex. Be sure to inc
dangina [55]

I'm just putting it here to ;)

Summary of Trash Vortex:

Plastic started to flood into people's lives. It replaced lots of other materials too. Also, it would be transformed into new objects. Children would play with plastic putty. This shows us that plastic is really popular, but the cost of being popular can harm our environment. People use plastic materials in their modern life. Plastic offered other conveniences such as disposable items like plates, cups, napkins. Although they're all meant to be thrown away after use.

Plastic trash began to accumulate in waterways. This caused waterways to be polluted and non-safe drinking water with diseases. For example, Ohio's river was so polluted with chemicals it caught on fire. causing to catch the attention of government leaders. The federal clean water act added rules in 1972 on industrial plants along waterways. That said waterways continued to trash accumulating a bit in reason of wind sweeping plastic and other non-disposable items.

I'm not sure if this is correct if Trash Vortex is about plastic and pollution, but I'm glad I helped. :)

belka [17]

Answer:

One of themes of The Tempest is forgiveness and reconciliation and it can be said that it is at this point, Prospero decides to not pursue revenge but rather forgive his brother. There also must be other more obscure reasons why Prospero decides to forgive when he has the power to take revenge. Power manifests itself in “The Tempest” in many different ways, including the exploration of the power of love, the universal desire for power amongst men, the power of a master over his slave, and the power of magic and illusion.
