I would leave.

Dear Friend,
I wish I could stay in town and help the town. I just dont want to get the plague and die like everyone else. If you want to come with me, I am going (Write a place). So if you want to come with me I would be glad to have the company. You know that if we still run now the plague will soon catch up to us where ever we go.

       With Love,
               (Your Name)

P.S. Hope to see you again.

Explain one way in which the government has taken action to improve health since 1900
mojhsa [17]
You should look up Progressivism. Progressivists dealt with a lot of reforms in the early 1900s.
Alternatively, try looking up “US health bills since 1900.” If you need a starting point, look up the Pure Food and Drug Act/Meat Inspection Act (both in 1906) and Upton Sinclair’s “The Jungle,” which had a particularly large impact on meat inspection.

You forgot to include the options of this question. However, we can comment on the following.

The commodity was precious rocks such as gold, and also other natural resources such as sugar, chocolate, tobacco, and potatoes.

When Christopher Columbus received the patronage of the Kings of Spain, Ferdinand de Aragon, and Isabella del Castille, the Spanish monarchs ambitioned new territories and to exploit raw materials and natural resources to get the kingdom richer. That is why the Spanish explorers ambitioned to exploit those raw materials found in the Caribbean Islands when Colon discovered America on October 12, 1492.
