When the Nubian civilization lost control of ancient Egypt and moved south to Meroë, the Nubians retained many Egyptian cultural

influences in the areas of art and architecture. They stopped using Egyptian hieroglyphics, however, and developed their own alphabet script for the Meroitic language instead. How does this compare to what happened when the Bantu peoples moved south of the equator?

Which technology was NOT used during WWI?
Simora [160]

Answer:

B. Atomic Weapons

Explanation:

Tanks were used near  the end of WW1, with tanks such as the Renault  FT, Mark 5, and the German A7Vs. Atomic weapons weren't even a concept back then. Gas was used since 1915, invented by a German scientist trying to develop a pesticide, and Machine  guns such as the Vickers or MG08 were common in the trenches.

makkiz [27]

Japan's imperialism was justified as a way to protect East Asia from the West. The idea was that only by taking advantage of its neighbors, could Japan become economically powerful. And this economic power, along with safety, became very important to the country, more so than maintaining traditional Asian values. Because it was considered so important, any action was justified in order to achieve it.
