Hey there! :D

So, I know this can be very, very confusing. I will try my best to explain this so it is understandable.

We need to start finding it by finding the slope of the line.

You can use the rise/run method, but I prefer to put it into this equation:

m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

Plug in a pair of points on the line. (-2,0) and (0,-4)

m=(-4-0)/(0-(-2)
m=(-4-0)/(0+2)
m=-4/2
m=-2

The slope is -2.

So, plug that into point-slope form. Use slope for m, and (x1,y1) as a pair of points.

y-y1= m(x-x1)

y-(-4)= -2(x-0)

y+4=-2(x-0)

y+4= -2x

Now, lastly, we just need to put in in slope-intercept form.

y=mx+b

Subtract 4 on both sides.

y=-2x-4 <== equation of the line

I hope this helps!

3x-3=180 add 3 to both sides 180+3
Rewrite: 3x=183
Divide 3 to both sides 183/3
Rewrite: x=61
To check plug 61 in for c
3(61)-3=180
3(61)=183
183-3=180
183-3=180
180=180

If your paper has 128 rectangles, how many folds did you make?
Mila [183]
If you fold a piece of paper, it will have 2 rectangles.
If you fold it again, it will have 4 rectangles.
If you fold it again, it will have 8 rectangles.
So, if you fold it n times, it will have 2^n rectangles.

2^n=128 \\&#10;2^n=2^7 \\&#10;n=7

If your paper has 128 rectangles, you made 7 folds.

Can you guys please solve it needed asap <br> -16 + 13n = -8 - 5n
RUDIKE [14]

Step-by-step explanation:

\huge{\purple{\underline{\underline{\bf{\pink{Answer}}}}}}

Firstly we have to take variables to L.H.S and numbers to R.H.S

13n + 5n =  - 8 + 16 \\ 18n = 8 \\ n =  \frac{8}{18}  \\ n =  \frac{4}{9}

Hope it helps
