The correct answer is Germany.

The Allied Powers consisted of the United States, Soviet Union, Great Britain, and France during World War II. These countries faced off against the Axis Powers of Germany, Italy, and Japan.

Ultimately, the Allied Powers wanted Germany to fight a two front war. This was accomplished when the Allied forces stormed Normandy. This day, known as the D-Day invasion, forced the Germany army to fight both in the western part of Europe (France) and in the east (near the Soviet Union). This strategy would help the Allied Powers win World War II.
