Answer:

Cannibalization would be minimized if editors introduced the second magazine as "serious and news only".

Explanation:

In the business sector, the term "cannibalization" is used to describe the situation in which two products that have the same type of consumers are launched on the market, so that one of the products increases its sales by "robbing" customers of the other product, consequently, its sales are reduced, which can lead to your company going bankrupt. In other words, cannibalization refers to the existence of two products that cannot live without harming the other.

An example of this can be seen in the question above, where People magazine wants to launch a second magazine, but to reduce the cannibalization that may exist between the two magazines (since they will compete for the same consumer), People magazine should launch the second magazine with the content opposite to the content of the first magazine.

Answer:

we need a real coffee bar! a non chain non huge corporate coffee bar! we would all, nearly all, love it! the chain coffee bars like Starbucks and Caribou are great coffee , expensive to buy by the cup but still a good treat occasionally. however the socialization that is comfortable and at ease and not something to do because 'hey there a trendy expensive Starbucks or something there,' thing. a place where women and men and students in high school, would congregate exchange views peacefully on political issues and ideology. practical every day people drinking coffee and solving some problems by at least talking about them. humor would be strongly encouraged..I'm not sure it is at the chain coffee bars. humor is good for people! used free books would exist on little tables to read , no television needed (fine at home but let's push ourselves away today!) and no avoiding other people. people are right there to talk to. you can buy any stranger coffee, you can put a tip in a jar for a social or health issue for people. people would come to escape work because they know they work and hopefully enjoy the work. but when one goes to coffee ☕, a sensory and enjoyable experience itself, one should enjoy hearing people one on one at a lil table or as a group at a booth and be able to speak openly about your ideas , social ideas, your maybe different drum ....ideas? here would be the place. here is your caffeinated refuge ..
