He was a good wartime leader because Rosevelt, commonly known as FDR, had the leadership skills to guide the US through the Great Depression of the 1930s and most of World War II.

He’s also the only president to serve more than two consecutive terms in office – managing to secure a fourth term before he died in 1945.

Yes, because he showed great leadership. He helped the US out during the Great Depression. He was confident, and turned out to be a great, powerful, and respected president.

Answer:

Most African countries are projected to have at least 60 percent growth.

Explanation:

Remember, we are told to select to statement that best describes the information presented on the map. Also, the term at least also means the minimum of...

A total of 19 countries (11+8); most countries are projected to have at least 60 percent projected growth. How is this evident? Because we are told that 11 countries on the map have an average population growth of 61 to 80 percent, and another 8 countries are over 160 percent. Meaning most African countries are projected to have at least (minimum of) 60 percent growth.

“Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely” assess the extent to which this idea affected the creation of the US go
Paraphin [41]
The Founding Fathers created the U.S. government to have numerous checks and balances as well as a VERY limited central (federal) government. They did this to prevent a relapse of the tyranny (hence “absolute power”) they dealt with under the British Empire. The American colonies were essentially meant to serve the mother nation (Britain), but the colonists braved the journey to America to establish a new, freer nation with religious freedom as its top priority.
To prove this quote is still relevant today, it’s not unknown that when humans acquire power, it’s very easy for them to abuse that power. Examples of this would be the oligarchies we see in Russia and China with a very small amount of people in power living in a lap of luxury while everyone else lives a subpar life.

How did President Hoover react to the stock market crash of 1929?
jarptica [38.1K]

President Hoover actually did very little during the time. He believed eventually the economy would eventually fix itself. The great depression never started in America. It was already bad throughout the world. However, back to your question. If you really want a human toll you'd have to include WWII because the great depression was the driving force fascistshe facisits.
