In the Odyssey Odysseus shows courage abd determination because he doesnt back out he goes straight into the cave without hesitation.

In this part of the story Odysseus take with him to the Cyclops' cave 12 men, there in the cave he finds that is full of cheese, lambs, bowls and pails for milking, his men advices him to leave the cave before the Cyclops return but he refuses to do it, when the Cyclops comes back sealed the entrance of the cave with a large slab of rock and they have to make all a plan to go out, this shows recklessness in his personality.
