Explain how wind erosion might effect exposed rock
Juliette [100K]

Answer:

Yo

Particles moved by wind do the work of abrasion. As a grain strikes another grain or surface it erodes that surface. ... As wind blows from different direction, polished flat surfaces create a ventifact. Exposed rocks in desert areas often develop a dark brown to black coating called desert varnish.

The process that releases ATP by breaking down glucose into ethanol and carbon dioxide is known as B alcoholic fermentation.

Explanation:

Alcoholic fermentation is an anaerobic process that deals with the breakdown of glucose into ethanol and carbon dioxide along with ATP generation.

First of all glucose molecule is Catabolized to pyruvate by glycolysis pathway. The so formed pyruvate is reduced to Acetyldehyde and carbon dioxide by the catalytic activity of Pyruvate Decarboxylase enzyme.

in the final step Acetaldehyde is undergo further reduction to generate ethanol by the help of Alcohol dehydrogenase enzyme.

This two reduction steps helps in the regeneration of oxidized NAD+ .

Structures that have reduced in size because they no longer serve an important function are called
tigry1 [53]
Hello there!

These structures are called Vestigial Structures.

The Vestigial Structures are those whose original function was lost during evolution. In humans, these structures are the appendix, the coccyx, the wisdom teeth and others.

In animals, examples of vestigial structures are the wings of flightless birds, hind leg bones on whales and pythons and eyes in blind fishes. Those vestigial structures help scientists study the evolution of some species.
