The reconstruction of Germany after World War II was a long process. Germany had suffered heavy losses during the war, both in lives and industrial power. Germany was in rough shape. Germany was divided into four temporary occupation zones, roughly based on the locations of the Allied armies.

I hope this helps answer your question..

Answer:

Destruction in urban areas and women were abused by the allies(mostly the soviets as revenge). Germany was bombed to the ground, many people wonder why kids were fighting for Germany(1944-1945) and the answer is that they were trying to stall the Russians as much as they could and give time for the females to run west to the Americans for a better occupation. They were also tired of war and many of there home destroyed and so Reconstruction was the only.

Explanation:

Thats why many people were going west, the Americans funded more for reconstruction than the soviets and that why the Berlin wall was built.
