The Articles of Confederation called for "<span>A.) A single Legislative Body," since the Articles were intentionally made to form a "weak" central government, and keep most of the power in the hands of the states. </span>
<span>This allowed farms to grow larger as they could now do more work in a quicker fashion and feed more people. This also put more work on the machinery than on the farmers, where before farmers were out for many hours just to get a small amount of work done, they could accomplish more in the same time frame without it being as physically straining.</span>
