Find the missing value 8 14 45 15

Mathematics
1 answer:

6 0

Answer:

The correct option is B.

Step-by-step explanation:

From the given figure it is nices that the length of sides AB, BC and AC are 20, 22 and 35. The line AD is angle bisector.

Let the missing value be x.

The Triangle Angle Bisector Theorem states that the angle bisector of an angle of a triangle divides the opposite side in two segments that are proportional to the other two sides of the triangle.

Since AD is angle bisector, therefore

\frac{AB}{AC}=\frac{BD}{CD}

\frac{20}{35}=\frac{22-x}{x}

20x=35(22-x)

20x=770-35x

Add 35x both sides.

55x=770

Divide both sides by 55.

x=\frac{770}{55}

x=14

Therefore, second option is correct.

The diameters of a circle is 7m. Find its area to the nearest tenth?? Help please
Lady bird [3.3K]

Area =\pi r^{2}

The diameter is double the length of the radius

7 ÷ 2 = 3.5

3.5 × 3.5 = 12.25

12.25\pi = 38.4845100064751

38.4845100064751 rounded to the nearest tenth is 38.5

5.818, 5 9/25, 53/10, 5.81 from least to greatest. THanKs :)
Nastasia [14]

Answer:

53/10, 5 9/25 ; 5.81 ; 5.818

Step-by-step explanation:

To find the solution we need to make some calculations:

53/10 = 5.3

5 9/25 = 5.36

So we have that the solution is:

53/10, 5 9/25 ; 5.81 ; 5.818

If the factors of function f are (x - 6) and (x - 1), what are the zeros of function f?
lidiya [134]
X=6 and x=1

You can find your zeros by determining what you have to plug into the function in order for it to equal zero

If we plug in 6, for example we’d get (6-6)(x-1)

Simplified this is 0(x-1)

Anything times 0 is 0, so this is one of our zeros.

Same goes for x-1, we just need to plug in 1 for it to equal 0

Therefore there are zeros at x=1 and x=6 :))
