adverbial clause

The adverbial clause in this sentence is "until she finds an apartment". This clause has it's own subject (she) and verb (finds), but it is dependent upon the rest of the sentence because of the subordinating conjunction "until". This clause also tells how long Marileta is staying with friends. Adverb clauses answer usually answer one of many questions including how long?

Identify the type of figurative language used by John F. Kennedy in his famous moon speech. "The greater our knowledge increases
nadya68 [22]

The figurative language used in the excerpt "The greater our knowledge increases, the greater our ignorance unfolds" is the paradox.

The paradox connects in the same situation two opposite things in a construct phrase that together acquires sense: although it seems more logical that when knowledge increases, ignorance reduces or fades away, the meaning of this sentence is that the more we know, the more we discover that yet we have much to learn; Then, the connection of the increasing knowledge with the unfolding ignorance makes sense.
