Answer:

max wil sell 52 because the first hour he sold 12 5hours -1 hour = 4 hour

4 hour × 10 p/h= 40

max sold 12+40 =52

leah will sell 58 because the first hour she sold 8

5hours - 1hour = 4 hours

4hours× 10 glasses p/h = 40

leah sold 40+8 =48 glasses

Your cell phone company Offers you a choice between two promotional deals you can either get 500 free text messages with the cha
ollegr [7]

Answer:

The number of messages that will cost same both plans is 1000.

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

For 1st offer:

Total number of messages = 500

Charge of each message after 500 messages = $0.10

For 2nd offer:

Total number of messages = 400

Charge of each message after 400 messages = $0.20

We need to find out the number of messages can be sent for equal cost of both plans.

Solution,

Let the number of messages be 'm'.

So For 1st offer:

Total cost 'c' is equal to fixed cost for 500 messages plus charge of each message multiplied with number of messages.

framing in equation form, we get;

c=500+0.10m

Again for 2nd offer:

Total cost 'c' is equal to fixed cost for 400 messages plus charge of each message multiplied with number of messages.

framing in equation form, we get;

c=400+0.20m

Now the question said that the charge would be the same.

So we can say that;

500+0.10m=400+0.20m

On combining the like terms, we get;

500-400=0.20m-0.10m\\\\100=0.1m\\\\

Now using multiplication property, we will multiply both side by '10' and get;

100\times 10=0.1m\times10\\\\1000=m

Hence The number of messages that will cost same both plans is 1000.

Of the last 100 customers entering a computer shop, 25 have purchased a computer. If the classical method for computing probabil
SOVA2 [1]

Answer:

0.50

Step-by-step explanation:

The question asks you to apply the classical method of computing probability. In this method, prior events do not interfere in the likelihood of an event happening in the future, instead it states that every possible outcome is equally likely to happen.

In this case there are only two possible outcomes: purchase or not purchase a computer. Therefore, the likelihood that the next customer will purchase a computer is 50% or 0.50.

Lawrence’s father gave him 200 baseball cards. Each week, Lawrence purchases 25 baseball cards to add to his collection.
andre [41]

Answer:

25w+200>750

Step-by-step explanation:

Lawrence gets 25 cards a week, so you can mark this as 25w.

Next, he also started with 200 from his father, so you can add +200.

Lastly, you're calculating how many weeks it would take until he had over 750 cards. So the inequality would be >750.

Add them all up and you get 25w+200>750.
