- I think all media industries are the same. They are driven by profit, therefore they tell stories that will sell, rather than stories to inform and educate.
- Media houses only fulfill their social responsibilities because they know that in this time and age (time of social media) they will be held accountable by the people (their viewers), because that stories they report are our lived experiences. Due o social media people now have the opportunity to tell their own story to the world, they no longer need the media. In order for media houses to stay relevant they need to be authentic, ethical, and be accountable.
