During an experiment, Harry enclosed two leaves of a plant in glass flasks labeled A and B. Flask A had water and carbon dioxide

. Flask B had potassium hydroxide solution to absorb carbon dioxide. Harry kept the plants in sunlight and watered them every day.
WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST!! WHich statement best describes the result of this experiment?

.The leaf in flask A will not get oxygen to make glucose.
.The leaf in flask A will convert water into carbon dioxide.
.The leaf in flask B will not get carbon dioxide to make glucose.
.The leaf in flask B will remove the carbon dioxide produced.

The answer is the leaf in flask B will not get carbon dioxide to make glucose. The leaf does not get the carbon dioxide as this is absorbed by potassium hydroxide solution, resulting to the absence of glucose made by the process of photosynthesis. Plants use the energy of sunlight to convert carbon dioxide and water into glucose, hence photosynthesis would not occur when carbon dioxide is not available.

How might water loss relate to the opening and closing of stomata? How does this relate to photosynthesis?
miv72 [106K]

Answer: When the plant has enough water in its cells the guard cells swell up and open the stomata. When the plant isn't getting enough water the guard cells can't swell and the stomata stay closed, so the plant doen's lose water. But if the stomata are closed photosynthesis can't happen and eventually the plant might starve.

Based on this diagram, do you think that organisms of the same order will share a stronger evolutionary relationship than organi
mihalych1998 [28]

Based on this diagram, the organism is classified based on some similarities. In the upper-division, the similarities should be more general in the lower division, the similarities will be more specific. It was mostly based on an organ, for example: vertebrate.

An organism with the same phylum could be put in a different order.

But the organism with the same order should have the same phylum and class too since the order is located below the phylum. Those similarities are tightly correlated with the evolutionary relationship.

Which part of a phospholipid faces toward the aqueous environment
wlad13 [49]
Phospholipids have 2 faces or poles: one hydrophobic (the tails which "run away" from water) and one hydrophilic (the heads which "like" water).

This means that when in a double layer in a aqueous environment, the heads will face the water and the tails will face each other.
