Answer:

Option (A)

Explanation:

Desalination is usually defined as a process by which the salt components and other particles are eliminated from the saline water. It is a very expensive process.

The middle east countries are rich in terms of oil, petroleum and natural gases, but there is a large scarcity of water. So, this process is extensively carried out in the Middle East in order to purify the water and use it for drinking, agricultural and some other purposes. It produces more than 70% of desalinated water in the world.

Thus, the correct answer is option (A).

gizmo_the_mogwai [7]
This would mean that the superior, as known as 'rich' or 'materialistic' man loves the quality/prefers the quality because they love materials and are worldy people.

On the other hand, the small man, as known as the poor man would prefer the love of others rather than materials.

What is Political Cartoon?

Today, editorial opinions and political criticism are expressed through cartoons in newspapers and publications, as well as for visual amusement and social commentary.

A political cartoon is a picture that depicts a political issue or event. The precise meaning has changed over time, but modern usage typically refers to either: an image or series of images intended for satire, caricature, or humour; or a motion picture that depends on a series of illustrations for its animation.

There are political machines that are operated and political elections that are used. In the first sense, someone who makes cartoons is referred to as a cartoonist, and in the second sense, they are typically referred to as animators.

Read about the Plessy v Ferguson case. In your own words, write a half-page summary discussing the background of the case and th
ch4aika [34]

Plessy vs. Ferguson was a Supreme Court case that took place in 1896. It all started when Homer Plessy, a man who is 1/8th African American, was asked to move from his seat in the all white section of a train car. Plessy refused to move since he had bought a seat in this section. He was promptly arrested for his refusal to abide by this law.

Homer Plessy would go on to change this law saying that it was unconstitutional. His lawyer argued that this was a violation of his 14th amendment rights. However, the Supreme Court ruled against Plessy. The majority opinion from the Supreme Court stated that this did not violate the 14th amendment as long as the facilities for blacks and whites were "separate but equal."

This ruling drastically changed American society, as other businesses and facilities became segregated by race. These laws would last for almost half a century in the United States.
