It's 10 years old, and was panned by a lot of people, but it still has a pretty good plot like making friends and things that happen in school. Or maybe "Princess Protection Program", which also has a good plot of friendship and what not. I know it's odd and sounds chessy, but if you think about it, they can teach some lessons about life, plus it's appropriate for students to watch.
