Oftentimes, it is these experiences that come with a person that become the main source of ispiration for a short story, sometimes even as a sort of exorcism, or a way to express, something that has been trying to surface but will not do so unless told in paper. However, many also recommend, as a second source of inspiration, using the works of other writers, as these will not only give ideas, but also show the new writer the techniques that can be used to express ideas.
