this particular football championship game? the national college football championship this year will be no contest! the springfield kings are going to easily defeat the jamestown spartans this saturday. the kings won the championship last year and won more games than the spartans this year. even president obama and former president bush can agree on this; they both predicted that the kings would win. as the mother of the kings' two best players, i have to agree. nobody can stop this team!

The Historical context would refer to President Obama and former President Bush can agree on this.
We don't know if the presidents agreed for this year or in the past since Obama has need in office for 8 years & Bush in office for 8 years before Obama. But at least one can say they are what give historical reference to the sentence.
