The Khmer Rouge was a terror political regime that governed Cambodia. The leader of the group was the dictator Pol Pot, considered a Marxist. He ruled for four years(1975 to 1979).  

Pol Pot’s idea was to create a Cambodian super race using social manipulation. Almost two million people died in the intent. This was called the Cambodian Genocide. Pol Pot executed its enemies, and all those who opposed the regime, but many people died from starvation or diseases.
