(1) For most of us, much of our time is spent sitting at a desk and staring at a computer screen. (2) We do homework, chat with

friends, or load photos on social networking sites in front of a computer. (3) All of that sitting and staring is not very good for our bodies or our eyes. (4) The easiest thing to do, but the one most people forget about, is to take breaks. (5) This means getting up from the computer for at least 10 minutes per hour to give your eyes a good rest. (6) Finally, sit with your feet flat on the floor or on a footrest, with your thighs parallel to the ground. (7) This stance will support your body, which, in turn, will support your head and neck. (8) The second thing you can do is to make sure you are sitting 18 to 22 inches away from the screen; the screen should be at your eye level. (9) If you do these small things, the hours you spend at the computer will be more relaxing.

This could be the start of your body:

“Stop Sport Injuries” state that over 3.5 million kids under 14, have had to receive treatment from sport injuries. From football to even hockey, people can get seriously hurt. So, teens and children should always be limited to these sports, proper safety and caution should be exercised, and at the very least be under supervision. People lose there loved ones to sports accidents everyday all over the world, and people can no longer bare it. People are making a stand. We should limit the amountof sports that are being played. If someone were to survive a sports accident, they can still be seriously injured to where they can no longer do every day things like walking or even putting on there own clothes.

I hope this helps! Please let me know!!!

2. Which answer choice is a word built from the base word satisfy by
raketka [301]

Answer:

The answer choice is:

c. dissatisfaction

Explanation:

Let's take a look at each option and use elimination to find the correct one.

a. satisfaction --> consists of the base word satisfy and the suffix -tion. Since there is no prefix, this is INCORRECT.

b. dissatisfy --> consists of the prefix dis- and the base word satisfy. Since there is no suffix, this is also INCORRECT.

c. dissatisfaction --> CORRECT option. It is formed by the prefix dis-, the base word satisfy, and the suffix -tion.

d. satisfactorily --> consists of the base word satisfy and two suffixes, - ory and -ly. This is not what we are looking for, so it is INCORRECT.

A prefix is a letter or group of letters which are placed at the beginning of a word. A suffix is a letter or group of letters added at the ending of a word. Both are used to transform that word into a new one by altering its meaning.
