W = width
4w = length

perimeter = 2(length) + 2(width)
perimeter = 2(4w) + 2w
perimeter = 8w + 2w
perimeter = 10w
90 = 10w
9 = w

length = 4w, 4(9) = 36.

Length is 36 m. Width is 9 m.

<h2>(2a − 5 + b) · 5</h2><h2>10×(a − 2.5 + 0.5b)</h2><h2>(−2a + 5 − b) ⋅ (−5)</h2>

Step-by-step explanation:

10a-25+5b\\\\-2(-5a-25+5b)=(-2)(-5a)+(-2)(-25)+(-2)(5b)\\=10a+50-10b\qquad NOT\\\\(2a-5+b)(5)=(2a)(5)+(-5)(5)+(b)(5)=10a-25+5b\qquad YES\\\\10(a-2.5+0.5b)=(10)(a)+(10)(-2.5)+(10)(0.5b)\\=10a-25+5b\qquad YES\\\\(-2a+5-b)(-5)=(-2a)(-5)+(5)(-5)+(-b)(-5)\\=10a-25+5b\qquad YES\\\\-10(-a-2.5-0.5b)=(-10)(-a)+(-10)(-2.5)+(-10)(-0.5b)\\=10a+25+5b\qquad NOT

Which rule represent the reduction of a figure?
vazorg [7]

Answer:

Correct option: second one

Step-by-step explanation:

Let's check each option to find the correct one.

First option: x and y increase by 2.3 times, so the figure expands. So this is not the correct option.

Second option: x and y decrease 0.52 times, so the figure is reduced. So this is the correct option.

Third option: x and y are translated by 1/3 of their position, so the figure is not reduced.

Fourth option: x and y increase by 7/2 times, so the figure expands. So this is not the correct option.

Correct option: second one

Can someone please help me?
Alisiya [41]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

That composite figure is made up of a square and a quarter of a circle.  We will first find the area of the square.  Then we will find the area of the circle and divide it by 4.

Area of square = 1.6 × 1.6

Area of square = 2.56 m squared

Area of circle = (3.14)(1.6²) In case you forgot, the area of a circle is A = πr².

Area of circle = 8.0384

Divide that by 4 to get 2.0096.

Add 2.0096 to 2.56 to get the total area, which is

4.5696 or 4.6 rounded (choice D)
