The correct answer to this open question is the following.

The event that President John F. Kennedy blamed on the failures of the Eisenhower administration was the launch of the Soviet satellite Sputnik.

Those were the conflictive years of the Cold War in which the United States and the Soviet Union compited in the arms race and the space race. President Kennedy was worried that the Soviets had been the first ones to launch a spacecraft into space before the Americans. This made President Kennedy set the space race as one of his priorities during his administration.

Define the equilibrium theory and explain its potential effects on disadvantaged Americans. (Site 1)
daser333 [38]
Equilibrium theory is attempts to explain the functioning of economic market as a whole, rather than individual phenomena. Prices of goods will naturally move toward equilibrium based on the supply and demand so for those Americans who cant afford much this proves to be a disadvantage. I hope this helps.

Q2 How did Hitler use Gleichschaltung to help him consolidate this power? [4]
maks197457 [2]

leichschaltung is the German term applied to the Nazification of German society following the Nazi seizure of power in 1933. Once Hitler became chancellor, he and the Nazi Party sought to “coordinate” all political, social, and cultural institutions with the Nazi state. This “coordination” was done in the name of national unity. However, it allowed the Nazi Party to extend its power by creating a single party state. Everything was subject to coordination: local government, professional organizations, social clubs, leisure activities—even those for children.

The state enforced coordination from the top-down. At the same time, many Germans responded with a bottom-up coordination of their own. This was known as Selbstgleichschaltung. Even Hitler was surprised with the speed and ease of remaking Germany. He noted “everything is going much faster than we ever dared to hope.”1

nadezda [96]

Answer:

Should be true

Explanation:

The main task of the Daughters of Liberty was to protest the Stamp Act and Townshend Acts through aiding the Sons of Liberty in boycotts and non-importation movements prior to the outbreak of the Revolutionary War.

The Daughters of Liberty consisted of women who displayed their loyalty by participating in boycotts of British goods following the passage of the Townshend Acts; they significantly reduced household consumption of imported goods by producing large quantities of homespun cloth.
