Explanation:
To support the claim Orwell provides a hypothetical situation with someone using unclear language, as shown in the second answer option.

What is a hypothetical situation?

- An invented situation.
- A situation that does not exist in real life.
Orwell wanted to show how people defend questionable behavior with difficult language, without objectivity, and with little clarity. This ends up confusing citizens and leading them to defend situations they cannot understand.

Answer:
If aliens ever invaded my backyard, there steps I would take while meeting them is seeing if they were friendly, learn about all of their technology, and then invite them to live with me
Firstly, If aliens were to ever land in my backyard, I would want to know if they were friendly or trying to take over right away. If they were trying to take over, then I know I can't trust them and I would have to call for help, but if they were nice, that's a different story.
Next, if I ever got the chance to learn about alien life and all their advanced technology, I would definitely take the chance. Imagine all of the cool stuff they could have. I could even get an actual hover bike or something.
Lastly, can you imagine living with cool aliens? You're life would be awesome and you can pretty much do anything. I would definitely sign up for that.
In conclusion, I think it would be awesome if aliens landed in my backyard, unless, of course, they were invading. It would be great to get something cool from the aliens. Also, it would be spectacular to have aliens living with me.
