1. You learn to observe the world around you.
2. You learn to avoid superstition whenever possible. This does not exclude you from having faith (in almost anything that is not bad). In the best of all possible worlds, faith and science would work together.
3. You learn how to investigate claims. Politicians would have a whole lot harder time of it if the electorate was educated in evaluating claims and other statements and promises.
4. You learn the art of listening, if you are lucky.
5. You learn the art of organizing both your thoughts and your actions.
6. You learn how mathematics can be applied. It is a great gift to know how to use numbers.
7. You learn to practice prudence in what you do. You are trained to think in terms of long range planning.

avanturin [10]

Answer:

C. Dark Moths had a survival disadvantage in industrial Dorset

Explanation:

Looking at the graph, you can see that the Dark Moth, compared to the Light Moth actually had a survival advantage.

I won't be explaining the why's to this phenomena, considering that the question is based solely on the graph.

Compare the two bars of Dorset. The Light Colored moths are represented by the green graph while the Dark colored moths are represented by the orange bar. The orange bar extends further that the green bar, showing that they recovered better than the other. So this means they were at an advantage and NOT at a disadvantage.
