What effect does knowing the true background of the photo have on the reader? Check all that apply. It makes the reader consider

the idea that the media doesn’t always tell the true story. It makes the reader understand that telling the truth is a good way to persuade. It shows the reader that when it comes to persuasive media, you can’t always trust what you see. It shows that lying is the only way to successfully persuade. It helps the reader feel better knowing that the woman in the photo wasn’t actually worried.

What strategies do you find most effective in getting people to listen to you? Check any that apply.
mash [69]

Answer:

  • raising my voice
  • repeating my point
  • asking people to be quiet
  • emphasizing certain ideas

Explanation:

All of us - regardless of our profession or the context in which we are inserted - are communicators. After all, it is through communication that we can expose our ideas, our dissatisfactions, our needs and projects, whether at work or in our personal lives.

Being heard when it comes to talking to people is a big challenge, especially today, when most focus seems to be on social networking notifications, but some tactics can help make people pay attention while you talk. These tactics are:

  • Raise the voice and ask people to be quiet: It makes people stop being distracted by banal things and pay attention to what you are talking about.
  • Repeating the point and emphasizing certain ideas: show the importance of the subject you want to talk about and can make people pay attention.

" In "The Yellow Wallpaper" (italicize that too) by Charlotte P. Gillman the audience is introduced to the theme of *insert whatever your theme is* this theme is throughly represented by her usage of words such as *Insert words that support the theme/mood*. The theme is also well represented by her use of figurative language, this is best represented in the lines *Insert 3 good examples or fig. lang. ( ex. Metaphor, Simile,Onamonapia, alliteration, Personification etc) "
