Who carries the responsibility of implementing legislation and executive orders
maks197457 [2]
The President (aka Executive Branch) is responsible for implementing legislation and executive orders. The US Constitution gives the president this power, as Article Two outlines the expectations and rights of the executive branch. This power given to the president can be checked by other branches of the federal government though, as the Supreme Court has the power of judicial review. This means the Supreme Court can rule acts of legislation or executive orders as unconstitutional.

Why do you think the workers in these factories accepted these conditions and did not quit?
Leviafan [203]
The workers accepted the conditions at the factories because if they didn't..... they would be fired and without work. These people were desperate for money, thus, very few of them made waves.

what is the most important reason for the end of the (western) roman empire? and what is the least important reason for the end
dsp73
The most important reason for the collapse of Rome was the failure to actually integrate what they conquered. When Roman soldiers conquered new lands, it was rare that they ever attempted to force their culture, ideals, or laws upon the natives and barbarians. Thus, when the Empire began suffering internal struggles, the natives they had conquered decided to take action, which lead to the swift collapse by barbarian invasion from all sides. It's hard to pick a LEAST important reason, seeing that there were many of them, but I suppose a contender would most likely be the common refusal of the Empire to even acknowledge that barbarians were rising. On the outer edges of their territory, in places like Gaul and Morocco, the Roman government was reluctant to even recognize the threat of the barbarians, thinking that even accepting that these barbarians were causing trouble would weaken their prestige in the public eye.

Why was the Eastern Roman Empire able to stay strong?
Ksenya-84 [330]

Answer:

In any case, the Byzantine Empire managed to survive after the decline of the Western Roman Empire due to a number of advantageous circumstances. ... Combined with a lack of mass Germanic migration into their territories, the Eastern Roman Empire was thus in a much better position to survive the collapse of the Empire.
