The area of a trapezoid has a formula of:
Area = (a + b) h / 2

Using the formula, we can easily find the height of the trapezoid.
<span>Area = (a + b) h / 2
</span>2250 = (80 + 100) h / 2
2250 = 180h / 2
2250 = 90h
h = 25 centimeters

So the height of the trapezoid is 25 centimeters.

What is the area of this?
Sloan [31]
The area is 13.

I think you were on the right track there. The area of the one on the bottom is 4*1, or 4. The area of the top upright rectangle is 9*1, or 9. 9+4=13.

Brums [2.3K]

The distance formula is d=\sqrt{(x_{2}, x_{1})^{2} +(y_{2}, y_{1})^2

7=x1

4=y2

-8=x2

4=y2

Just plug in the missing values into the equation and solve the equation :)
